We’d like to hear your thoughts on the draft Code of Development Standards to assist our Council in their decision-making.
The draft Code of Development Standards (CODS) seeks to replace the existing Code of Land Development and Subdivision Engineering 2010 so that it aligns with the new district plan and reflects the most recent New Zealand Standards on land development and subdivision, water infrastructure technical standards and specifications, and legislative updates.
The CODS sets out Porirua City’s preferred subdivision and development standards. It covers:
Information requirement for resource consents
Earthworks
Stormwater
Water supply
Wastewater
Transport
Parks, reserves and landscaping
Electricity, telecommunications, gas
