Traffic Resolutions May 2024

On Thursday 30 May 2024, at the Council meeting, the following Traffic Resolutions were passed:
1. SCHEDULE “E” NO STOPPING AT ALL TIMES
DISCOVERY DRIVE, Whitby:
i. Add (p) On its northern side from its intersection with Starboard Lane extending in a north easterly direction for 58m.
RAIHA STREET, Kenepuru:
ii. Add (d) On its southern side, beginning at a point 12m southeast of the boundary between No. 56 and No. 58 Raiha Street for 57m.
2. SCHEDULE “F” RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS
DISCOVERY DRIVE, Whitby:
i. Add (c) On its western side, beginning at a point 6m north of the northern edge of the vehicle crossing of Newhaven Way, in a northerly direction for 153m, for a period of five (5) minutes between 8.15am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 3.45pm school days only.
ii. Add (d) On its eastern side, beginning opposite the northern edge of the vehicle crossing of Newhaven Way, in a northerly direction for 138m, excluding the accessway to Adventure Park, for a period of five (5) minutes between 8.15am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 3.45pm school days only.
3. SCHEDULE “G” BUS STOPS
i. Add STARBOARD LANE, Whitby: (a) On its northern side beginning 20m west of its intersection with Discovery Drive in a westerly direction for 30m.
In accordance with our bylaw, you have until 4:00 pm 18 June 2024 to submit any objections.
