Hearing panel appointed

lndependent Hearing Commissioners are required to be appointed to consider submissions and make recommendations on behalf of Porirua City Council.

Robert Schofield (sole trader) is an accredited RMA decision-maker (Chair endorsed), and a Fellow of the New Zealand Planning lnstitute. Mr Schofield regularly acts as an independent Hearings Commissioner for RMA processes and is currently the Deputy Chair of the lndependent Hearing Panel for the Wellington City Proposed District Plan. Mr Schofield has confirmed that he has capacity for undertaking the necessary processes required for processing the above consent.

Elizabeth Burge (Burge Consulting-Resource Management Ltd) is an accredited RMA decisionmaker (Chair endorsed). Ms Burge regularly acts as an independent Hearings Commissioner for RMA processes and is currently a member of the lndependent Hearing Panel for the Wellington City Proposed District Plan. Ms. Burge has confirmed her availability and is an appropriate panel member.

Harriet Fraser (Harriet Fraser Engineering and Transportation Planning) is an accredited RMA decision-maker, and a Charted Professional Engineer. Ms Fraser regularly acts as an independent Hearings Commissioner for RMA processes and has confirmed her availability and is an appropriate panel member.

The recommended commissioners easily meet all necessary skill, knowledge and experience requirements to hear submissions at the hearing and make a recommendation on behalf of Porirua City Council on the Land Use application for 2 Okowai Road, Aotea.
